Description
A prominent observer endowed with great synthesis power, artist Iser will always find inspiration in the world of realities. Here he will meet the man, who will form the basis of his entire creation and to whom he will dedicate a special place. From the peasants of Argeș, to the soldier-peasants called to defend the homeland in 1916, to the cultural creators, the anonymous circus and theater performers, or the Dobrujan Tatars, Iser will capture the man in various aspects, depicting him in unparalleled plastic interpretations. A major thread in his creation will be the Dobrujan space, outlined around 1913, when he came into contact with the captivating world of Tatars and Turks, settled in Romanian lands. The campaign established here will give the painter the chance to get to know them closely, observe their customs and features, during which the first paintings dedicated to these minorities will come to life.
