Description
The blade of this ceremonial weapon is made from one piece, equipped with two flat wide handles, in the shape of a half-moon. Its surface is engraved with rondeaus from a stylized architectural setting. The base overlays a pyramid trunk and a sphere, and, in the lower part, it is extended with very long thin plates, ensuring affixion to the spear. Such pieces were used for official ceremonies, and they were used by the respective monarch’s guards.
