Placed on either side of the table, the apostles have Jesus blessing in the middle, and in front of him is Judas preparing to leave, holding the bag with the reward of betrayal. Two blue buildings and a chandelier contribute to suggesting depth, along with the pavement visible at the bottom of the icon. (M.B.)
