The artwork is mentioned and reproduced in "Colecția Maria și Ion Ionescu-Quintus", Ionescu Ruxandra, Museum Magazine, No. 5, 1972, pp. 453-458, under the title "Flori" ("Flowers"). The artwork was part of the exhibition of the Official Salon, the Arts Pavilion, Bucharest, 1928 and is mentioned and reproduced in the exhibition catalogue at cat. 141, p. 17, plate 1. The artwork was part of Gheorghe Petrașcu's personal exhibition, Căminul Artelor, Bucharest, April 1-26, 1928 and is mentioned in the exhibition catalogue at cat. 81, under the title "Flori, Barba împăratului" and being part of the Ionescu-Quintus collection. The artwork was part of "Expoziția G. Petrașcu", Dalles Foundation, May 21 – July 1, 1933, at cat. 233, under the title "Flori" ("Flowers").
