The artwork was purchased by Academy member Roman Moldovan, following the Ion Èuculescu personal exhibition at the Romanian Athenaeum, Bucharest, 1947. The painting took part in the "Ion Èuculescu â Un labirint fÄrÄ Ã®nceput Èi sfârÈit" ("Ion Èuculescu - A Labyrinth without a Beginning and an End") exhibition, Nicodim Gallery, Bucharest, 2014.
