The Feast Day illustrates scenes from the life of the Savior Jesus Christ, in a broad and balanced iconographic composition. The icon is structured into 13 boxes: 12 of smaller dimensions, arranged peripherally, depicting significant moments from the life and activity of the Savior, as well as important imperial feasts — The Annunciation, Palm Sunday, The Meeting of the Lord (Candlemas), The Baptism of the Lord, The Dormition of the Theotokos. At the center of the composition is the main box, larger in size, dedicated to the Resurrection of the Lord. The Savior Jesus Christ is depicted in glory, blessing above the open Tomb, surrounded by a mandorla of clouds, a symbol of His divine ascension. The composition is remarkable for the rigor of the drawing, the accuracy of the details, and a balanced chromaticity, where shades of green, gray, brown, and vermilion red predominate. The overall atmosphere of the icon is bright, warm, evoking the solemnity and hope of the Resurrection. The entire work is framed by a border with red and blue flowers, with a strong visual and symbolic impact.
