The icon represents Saint John the Baptist, centrally located, dressed in specific vestments, holding a cross with a flag in his left hand and blessing with his right hand. The Saint is framed by trees, and above him, on the clouds, God the Father is painted, blessing with both hands. The sky is painted in shades of gray, and the earth in shades of green and brown.
