The French geographer and cartographer Alexis Hubert Jaillot (1632-1712) published in 1696, in Paris, under the patronage of the Duke of Burgundy to whom the work was dedicated, this map of Hungary and its component states. The piece includes two titles, one written in Latin, exposed above the map itself, and the other written in French, in an allegorical cartridge in the top right corner. Engraving on copper, manually coloured after imprinting.
