Poet Grigore Alexandrescu (1810-1885) s-a stood out as a great fable writer, influenced by the French opera of the same type A member of the 1848 generation in Wallachia, editor of the provisional Revolutionary Government office in Bucharest in 1848, "Poporul suveran" ("The Sovereign People"), he led a sad life, marked by a serious mental illness. The copy is part of the princeps edition, appreciated at the time by Vasile Alecsandri, among others.
