The composer Eduard Caudella (1841-1924) sent to Matilda Poni, the wife of Petru Poni, a liberal politician and president of the Romanian Academy, two handwritten letters, dated and signed, in which he asked for her support in personal matters. The two letters are kept in a period envelope with the header of the Romanian Academy.
