Radu Pandele's work captures the artist's attitude towards the era of uncertainty we are traversing at the speed of blue light of screens, and in which more and more artistic phenomena acquire the acronym "post". From Postmodern to Post-contemporary, Post-conceptual or Post-internet, the artistic movements of the moment continue to have their roots in the major trends that appeared at the end of the last century, but have undergone a complex process of reconfiguration, massively influenced by the emergence of digital subcultures and the phenomenon of globalization of visual arts. Thus, Pandele Pandele's work, "Only Mortals Celebrate Life", is a material translation of the perspective of anti-reality's plasticity, which is linked to the necessity of the absurd in art. Drawing a parallel between physical reality and the virtual one, the artist investigates a simulacrum that stands at the border between the two, developing a sort of inverted epiphenomenon of mimesis through which he reflects what is already doubled or altered through the digital interface. The psychological dimension that the artist delves into in his works is always highlighted by the suggestive titles of the process of essentializing the philosophical premises on which he configures his plastic creations.
