Ilie Năstase is a professional tennis player who has retired from his sporting career. He was twice world number one, in 1972 and 1973, and won 83 titles, 58 of which were recognised by the Association of Tennis Professionals. Ilie Năstase was known for his arena attitude, his jokes, but also for his reputation for using aggressive techniques against opponents. After a few incidents, Ilie Năstase received the infamous nickname of "Nasty". In 2024, the documentary film, "Nasty", inspired by his nickname, was released, representing a captivating incursion into the life of the legendary Ilie Năstase, called "the first rebel in tennis history".
