The volume begins with the text of the Paris Convention of 1858 establishing the form of organization of the United Principalities, as well as the Electoral Law on the mechanism for the election of the lord in Moldova and Wallachia. This is followed, in the order of binding in the volume, by the following texts in the form of printed brochures: The Law for the Court of Cassation and Justice of the United Principalities; The Law for the State Council; The Law for the Court of Audit; The laws adopted during the year 1865 (nine in number); The Rural Law with the proclamation of the Lord with the instructions for application; The Law for Urban and Rural Communes; Table of all rural communes in the country; The Law for County Councils; The Law for Railways on the Siret Valley; The Law for Expropriation for Cause of Public Utility; The Law on the General Accounting of the State; The Law for the Establishment of Preceptors; The Law for the Establishment of Chambers of Commerce; The Law for Weights and Measures; The Law on Instruction; The Law for Foreigners Domiciled in the Country to Buy Real Estate Properties. Almost on each title page of the brochures is the stamp of the Ministry of Interior of the United Principalities. The copy has a period binding and shows signs of the passage of time.
