The document refers to the situation of the assets of the great unionist boyar Dimitrie Ralet (1816-1858), magistrate and writer of aristocratic origins, supporter of the Union of Principalities project, struck down by tuberculosis in October 1858. The document is handwritten, dated and signed and bears the header of the United Principalities, Wallachia. It is addressed to the "Eforia of the house of the late vornic Dimitrie Ralet".
