The specimen is part of the series of historical images published in Iași by Gheorghe Asachi starting from 1833 within the Albina Institute (Typography) founded by him, where he published, among other things, the first newspaper in Moldova, Albina românească. On the verso is an ex-libris of the collector Dr. Mircea Petrescu.
