A. On the obverse of the medal is modeled Queen Maria, seated and in profile to the left, dressed in royal clothes and crowned. With both hands, she presents the model of the Stella Maris chapel, which belonged to her residence Tenha Juvah. In the background of the medal are represented stylized waves. On either side of the medal appears the legend: "QUEEN MARIA", and at the bottom, in smaller characters, the mark "E.W. BECKER". On the reverse, in the central medallion is modeled a swastika with the number of Queen Maria in the center, inscribed in a heart. The spaces created by the arms of the cross are filled with lily flowers. On the arms of the cross the legend "MY COUNTRY MY HEART" is incised; In the circular exergue, the legend: "STELLA MARIS - IN BALCHIK ON THE SILVER COAST GUARDS THE GOLDEN HEART ". B. On the obverse is modeled the bust of King Charles II, with his face in profile to the left. He wears the mantle of the knight of the order of Michael the Brave. At the top, the semicircular legend "CAROL II KING OF ROMANIANS" appears. Above the king's left shoulder: the mark "E. W. BECKER". On the reverse of the medal is depicted the construction of a jetty over water, several ships, and at the bottom, the image of Balchik, where we recognize the minaret of the mosque; in the upper exergue, the legend in Romanian: "THE JETTY KING CAROL II"; in the lower exergue, the legend in Romanian: "BALCHIK 1940".
