The term "Romaniae" refers to the territory of the former Roman Empire. The map includes the area of Muntenia, Moldova, Bessarabia, Dobrogea, and a small part of the Danube region. The upper left part is decorated with a large beautifully decorated cartouche that includes the title of the piece. Hand-colored copper engraving after printing.
