The photographs capture officers from the first promotion of the Superior War School in Bucharest, along with some senior officers from the school's management, during a research trip in Moldova, in the Piatra Neamț-Suceava-Corona Broșteni region. Beside the officers, local peasants from the villages encountered appear, with their occupations and scenes of everyday life. Some photographs feature rural or natural landscapes. The items have both a collectible value, as well as a documentary, ethnographic or historical one. All are glued onto period cardboard, either one or two face-versus.
