The present work represents a monument of Romanian culture in Transylvania during the Enlightenment period. Initiated by Samuil Micu and continued by other representatives of the Transylvanian School. Specialists consider it the first modern dictionary of the Romanian language. The text is arranged in two columns and is printed with Latin, Cyrillic, and Gothic characters. The typographic ornamentation found on the pages is succinct. The title page is decorated with a rustic-inspired sequence. The binding is from cardboard with a leather spine, probably dating from the mid-19th century. The copy is kept in a good state of preservation, with traces of the passage of time inside.
