Obverse legend: ʄSIGIS:III∙D:G:REX∙POL:M:D:L:R:PRVS:* Obverse description: The legend is arranged in a circular fashion on the edge, between two beaded circles, interrupted by the bust of Sigismund III Vasa, crowned, armored and with an elaborate collar, depicted in profile and oriented to the right. Reverse legend: ʄMONETA∙CIVIT:GEDANENSIS∙1616∙ Reverse description: Shield at the beginning of the legend, featuring a bear paw inside. The legend is arranged in a circular fashion on the edge, between two beaded circles. Centrally, a circular shield flanked by two rampant lions and stamped with vegetal elements. Within the shield, two crosses with slightly flared ends, one on top of the other, stamped with an open crown with fleurons.
