On the obverse side, there is a representation of Giorgio Basta's bust in armour, circular GEORG BASTA. D.NS. IN SVLT. EQV. AVR. On the reverse side, there is the circular text: S.C.M. AC CATH REG. HISP.CONSL. BEL. ET.IN. TRANS. CAPIT.GENERAL. In the field, a laurel crown and three palm branches, and underneath VALL: PROF SIC: DEV/ DAC. REC/ 1603. "The military council of the catholic King of Serbia, Croatia, Moravia and Spain, Supreme Commander of Transylvania, General of the Walloons and Szeklers, defeated the Dacian country, 1603."
