Stefan IV of Moldavia continues to issue coins in the same system as his predecessor. Both Groschen and Half Groschen are known during his reign. The coins are made of billion, an alloy with a low silver content, or made of copper, and afterwards silver-plated.

PROVENANCE

It originates from an auction house based in Sweden. The preliminary origin (March 2010) is the sale of the medieval Romanian coins collection belonging to a German numismatist, Berlin.
