The stages of Pablo Picasso's creation coincide with the models that were close to him and in his daily life. Over time, he had several muses - platonic loves or even wives, who were inevitably transposed into fascinating pictorial motifs. Between 1955-1973, Picasso's life was marked by the presence of Jacqueline Roque - whom he met at Madoura Ceramic Studio. The two will marry in 1961, and Jacqueline will become his second wife. She will be his muse and primary source of inspiration for a good period of time, possibly even the most fruitful stage of his creation, so the model will be the central subject of over 70 portraits. In 1961, the artist creates a sculpture with a similar subject, in which we note the features of Jacqueline. However, for Picasso, the line and color will remain independent regardless of the medium in which he works. Attentive to his appearance, eager to second and support her partner, Jacqueline was beside him until his last moments. The last period of Picasso's creation coincides with a mix of styles and a constant flow of ideas and, implicitly, with even more challenging art.
