The propaganda poster was published by the Italian army at the Novissima publishing house in Rome and featured British naval warships sunk by Tripartite Pact forces (Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Japan) from the beginning of the Second World War until 27 January 1942. The ships are divided into categories, while those destroyed by the Italian Navy are marked in red. The poster was printed in Romanian and distributed in Romania, which in that year was part of the said alliance.
