The rectangular plaque features on the obverse the profile bust of King Michael I, surrounded by a laurel wreath above which is the small coat of arms of Romania. The crossed cannons, the unanimous symbol of the artillery, interpose between the portrait and the name of the plaque. The reverse features the effigy of Marshal Ion Antonescu, with the title of Head of State, next to 2 cannons, marking technological developments, and the dates 1843 and 1943.
