George Fotino (1896 – 1969), istoric, jurist (doctor în drept la Paris), traducător din limba greacă, deţinut politic (1949-1956), ne-a lăsat cel puţin două instituţii culturale de referinţă: Ansamblul muzeal de la Goleşti şi Fundaţia I.I.C Brătianu, din Piaţa Amzei. Volumul de faţă, bogat ilustrat, reuneşte cele patru volume despre Boierii Goleşti într-o legătură de catifea verde închis, cu titlul în roşu pe cotor.
