Cele două piese de servit sunt decorate cu nuferi, stuf şi flori de baltă decupate pe contur, fapt ce amplifică spectaculozitatea ansamblului. Uşor reliefate, gravate și fin patinate, piesele au o decoraţie influenţată de stilul de redare japonez, redescoperit în Europa sfârşitului de secol XIX, stil ce va influenţa creionarea stilului Art-Nouveau. Piesele sunt prezentate în caseta originală.
