The badge was offered to the Royal Navy staff on torpedo launch warships, three in number, during the Second World War, organised as the Sea Division. Its obverse presents a ship placed in the centre, surrounded by a laurel wreath and the Royal Crown in the upper part, while its reverse one can find a needle-based fastening system.
