Exceptional preservation state. It presents a striking shine. This Romanian gold coin is very heavy and very rare (only 3,000 pieces were minted). The coins from this series, minted in 1906, were issued to celebrate forty years since Carol I's ascension to the throne. Minted in Brussels, they were engraved by Alphonse Michaux.
