Inspirată din iconografia bizantină, creația lui Ștefan Râmniceanu se dezvăluie ca un labirint încărcat de simboluri. Cromatica nu este aleasă întâmplător, straturile de auriu, sugerând lumina, cunoașterea, divinitatea. Straturile picturale multiple denotă o structură în relief a picturilor, traversând vocabularul specific sculpturii. În mitologie, dezlegarea unui labirint echivala cu inițierea, trecerea la maturitate, atingerea cunoașterii de sine.
