An old, collectable, rare item, Mediaş subarea, consisting of two summer / fast and holiday outfits (two front aprons). Made up of six pieces, it is a special ensemble due to the temporal unit of the pieces and the dating of the front apron, with the monogram and year 1903 and, in particular, with the presence of anthropomorphic motifs – the bride and groom at the wedding – in the motifs of the perimeter lace. The blouse is a rare piece, old, with attached bottoms, with turned sleeves, fine seam on the rustles of the sleeves or the upper side. The upper part is made of fine, hand-crafted jolj (cotton), with a wide vest at the front and narrow vest at the back, sewn with floral motifs with the tree of life. On the sleeves, the central part is made of fine, handmade lace with floral motifs. The attached bottoms are made of cotton cloth, a little thicker than the blouse. The apron is a rare collector’s item – made of very fine jolj, with handmade lace inserts, sewn with white thread with anthropomorphic motifs – bride and groom at wedding, vegetal motifs, monogram and dated 1903. The black apron is a piece made of industrial viscose fabric, jacquard type, with discreet floral pattern, black background, with perimeter lace. The warm season apron, very ample, made of cotton cloth, continues the front apron style, with fagotting embroidery inserts, with floral motifs. The item is in excellent condition. The church cloak is made of fine pleated fabric from wool and cotton, with the inner side made of red cotton cloth, with the outer perimeter edge made of cotton velvet sewn to a thread with floral motifs. The bows and the head dress are made of cotton velvet, sewn to a thread with floral motifs, such as the cape.
