In Paris, in Furstenberg Square, in 1977, Mircea Eliade, Eugen Ionescu, Emil Cioran, were photographed by Louis Monier while chatting relaxed. Mircea Eliade is persuaded by his publisher to come to Paris for a photo shoot to promote his new book. Arriving in the French capital, he met Louis Monier and the idea of taking a photo of the three writers was born. The area where the photo was taken was not a tourist area. Most people who choose to explore this region are connoisseurs of painting, who come specifically to see the Eugène Delacroix museum.
