The item is characterized by a religious content. It has a small format (12x9,5x3,5 cm), the binding dates back to the second half of the 19th century Calligraphy writing, by hand, in the Slavic language. It consists of 12 psalms on 32 pages, numbered at the bottom of the page. The part between pages 33 and 37 refers to the Great holidays of the year. The second part of the book includes the Months of the church year, that is, the period from September 1st to August 30th, with a presentation of each month. At the beginning of the book, one can see a page with the image of Jesus Christ; the drawing depicts Jesus dressed in a green robe and a red mantle on his shoulders, placed in a geometrical border, the theme being the blessing of the faithful. The calligraphic writing, in black and red ink, imitating the press calligraphy style, with 13 rows per page, beautifully aligned, denotes a possible prior lineout of the pages. The pages also feature decor elements, such as frontispiece and initials, made mostly in red ink and framed by linear borders. The mirror of the text (9x7 cm format) fits very well into the page. Together with the written pages, the item also has seven blank, unwritten pages, as follows: two at the beginning of the book, one at the end of the psalms and four at the end of the book. The volume is bound in brown leather that also covers the wooden book covers. The binding of the book dates back to the second half of the 19th century and is marked by the passage of time, as well as the entire item itself. The book block still has the full numbering of pages at the bottom of the page. On the flyleaf of the second cover, there is a note written in Slavonic language showing that the present copy was written by Efim Vasiliev in 1868, October 30th. At the bottom of the text, he drew his right hand with the pen between his fingers.
