227. "Empowerment with the holographic signature of Metropolitan Calinic Miclescu, March 4, 1870 (one page)"

Cleric Calinic Miclescu held the dignity of Metropolitan of Moldova between 1865 and 1875 and that of Primate Metropolitan of Ungro-Vlachia between 1875 and 1886. The document represents a power of attorney given by the Metropolitan to his brother for the purpose of purchasing a house in Botoșani. The act is handwritten in black ink, it is signed and dated.
