The copy is part of the splendid first edition of the adventure novels, novels written by Jules Verne and published by the Parisian publisher who launched him, Hetzel. With 154 heliogravures painted by Ferat and engraved by Barbant, the volume is bound in richly decorated leather covers, with a gilded edge.
