In-folio format 16 + 212 sheets, the latter numbered. On the verso of the title is a engraving made at Neamt, representing The Ascension. In the preliminary leaves there are: the letter of Abbot Silvestru, to Metropolitan Veniamin, an engraving representing the ladder and explanations of the symbolic meanings of each step.
