tempera and gold foil on glass, stained frame, 45.5 x 40 cm, 45,5 Ã 40 cm
Seated on a crate decorated at the bottom with lozenges, Jesus is squeezing grapes from grapes grown from his side into a chalice. In the background there is the Cross of Crucifixion. The upper part of the background is white, the lower part is decorated with vertical parallel lines. The frame is made of blue and white bands positioned diagonally, in the style of the Grecu family painters. (M.B.)
