Jesus is depicted in central position, in the middle of the River Jordan, standing on Adam's contract. On the left, John is pouring baptism water over Him. On the right, an angel is coming down on clouds, holding the cloth. In the upper part, the heavens open and the rays of the Holy Spirit, depicted as a dove, descend on the Saviour. Worth mentioning is the naive representation which is, at the same time, enchanting. (M.B.)
