Autorul Jean (Hans) Arp (1886, Strasbourg, Germania/Franța - 1966, Bâle, Elveția) a fost un foarte important sculptor, pictor și poet, îmbrățișând ba chiar participând la fondarea multor curente, între care dadaismul si suprarealismul.
