Vasul soliflor tip Berluze face parte dintr-o mare familie de opere din sticlă, create de Atelierele Daum din Nancy. Tipologia diversă a pieselor a făcut deliciul colecționarilor din epocă, fiind azi unanim apreciată pentru caracterul de paradigmă a sticlăriei franceze Art Nouveau, de largă circulație. Piesa de față prezintă un volum echilibrat, cu accentul volumetric în partea inferioară, coloritul verde-brun fiind cel mai folosit pentru producția tip Berluze.
