Encrieră, piesă masivă de birou, decorată pe fundal cu un bloc de gheaţă, minunat sugerat, de formă neregulată, cu două deschideri pentru recipientele cu cerneală acoperite de capace, înscrise perfect în peisajul nordic, iar central un urs polar, ronde-bosse, reprezentat păşind, cu capul uşor întors spre privitor. Compoziţia se prelungeşte cu o porţiune lisă rezervată depozitării ustensilelor de scris.
