La începutul sec. XX ciorapii din mătase fixaţi cu jartieră erau fabricați în două culori sau cu un model cu zona inferioară care să se armonizeze cu restul ţinutei. Perechea de ciorapi din mătase bej-roz, veritabilă piesă de colecţie, are zona inferioară neagră cu model vegetal brodat şi bordură geometrică.
