Jules Supervielle, scriitor francez născut în Uruguay, a aparținut mișcării suprarealiste, ceea ce l-a determinat pe Ilarie Voronca să-l întâlnească în peregrinările sale pariziene. Exemplarul, cu numărul 891 dintr-un tiraj de 1000, i-a fost dedicat printr-o însemnare olografă, lui Voronca, "avec les sentiments tres admiratif".
