178. A Stroll through Bois de Boulogne [1934]

The Paris park landscapes were amongst Iser's favourite topics during his stay in the French capital, especially in the second half of the 1920s. After 1929, when Mr. and Mrs. Iser establish their residence and studio in Avenue de Versailles 130, Iser would most frequently paint the interior gardens between apartment buildings, but especially the nearby parks, such as Sainte-Périne or the beautiful Bois de Boulogne.
