O lucrare realizată în prima perioadă de creație a lui Alexandru Țipoia ne oferă ocazia să descoperim un artist interesat încă foarte mult de figurativ și în special de tăria formei. Pictat probabil imediat după absolvirea cursurilor de la Școala de Belle Arte din București, uleiul trădează influența pe care au exercitat-o asupra lui Țipoia marii moderniști - Gaugain, Cezanne etc.
