PROVENANCE

colecţia istorică a scriitorului Lucian Blaga; achiziționată la Viena în 1935, conform inscripției de pe verso.

Perspectiva trădează elemente renascentiste, dar și de tradiție postbizantină (strana, rigiditatea construcției anatomice). Lucrarea se remarcă printr-o perspectivă ce este bine construită, cu o compoziție și cromatică bine echilibrate, însă printr-o realizare rigidă a fizionomiei, gesticii si construcției anatomice.
