Budapest, the second capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, was famous throughout Europe in the second half of the 19th century for its thermal baths. Among these was the St. Luca (Lukacs) establishment, which still operates today. The calendar represented a superb advertisement, decorated with a large floral motif, for these baths. The pages are embossed, colored and in very good state of conservation, with texts printed in Romanian. The first three pages are preserved, which include the months January-September, divided three per page.
