Fondată în 1815, distileria Ardberg a produs unul dintre cele mai iubite whisky-uri al tuturor timpurilor, Airigh nam Beist. Gândit la început drept o variațiune a acestuia, Ardbeg Corryvreckan a depăşit toate aşteptările, obţinând titlul de "World's Best Single Malt Whisky" la World Whisky Awards 2010 şi este considerat cel mai bun Scotch fără vârstă în "Biblia Whisky-ului" a lui Jim Murray.
