Lama sabiei este confecționată din oțel cromat turnat la Toledo, decorată cu un bogat model vegetal stilizat care pune în valoare cifra Regelui Ferdinand aflată în mijloc, pe o parte, iar pe cealaltă parte se află stema regală. Mânerul este din bachelită, cu partea terminală în forma unui cap de acvilă, înconjurat de o gardă din oțel cromat și traforat. Piesa făcea parte din uniforma de zi a ofițerilor armatei române în epocă.
