Uniforma de paradă a ofițerilor armatei americane de la începutul secolului XX era completată de o sabie alcătuită dintr-o lamă din oțel cromat, cu o gardă pe jumătate rabatabilă turnată în bronz aurit. Mânerul era din lemn decorat cu un fir spiralat din argint aurit iar teaca era turnată în oțel cromat cu cele două inele de prindere din alamă aurită.
